Partners for Parks, the Local Organizing Committee for the 2016 U.S. Paralympic Team Trials

Partners for Parks, the Local Organizing Committee, is responsible for bringing the 2016 U.S. Paralympic Team Trials for Cycling, Swimming and Track & Field to Charlotte June 30 – July 2, 2016. These Team Trial events will be held at various locations in Charlotte (eg University Research Park, Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center and Johnson C. Smith University) and will attract approximately 500+ Paralympic athletes from all across the United States. Save the Dates July 2, 2016: Meet & Greet with the athletes, entertainment and Fan Zone at Romare Bearden Park July 3, 2016: Announcement & Presentation for each sport of Team USA at Romare Bearden Park This is the first time that the USOC has held these three Paralympic Time Trials in the same location, so Partners for Parks, the Local Organizing Committee, is anxious to demonstrate that Charlotte is the place that future USOC events can be held. Consider donating to the Partners for Parks’ U.S. Paralympic Team Trials Fund, which will provide the necessary support for various activities showcasing great athletes, demonstrating the power of sportsmanship, spreading Paralympic values and awareness, and giving rise to new champions in our community. The U.S. Paralympic Team Trials Fund will also support local marketing, transportation, volunteers and other logistical efforts for these events. With your financial support and volunteerism we will make the 2016 U.S. Paralympics Team Trials a great success!
